WE WANT YOU TO LOOK YOUR BEST!

 There are many steps to creating a great portrait that will be enjoyed and shared for years. The most important step starts with you! Though DSP can do many things to enhance your senior portrait, there are many things we cannot correct after you have been photographed. So please take note of these few suggestions.

CLOTHING: Some poses may show you full length. Please be sure your outfit is complete and neat including your shoes. Sleeveless tops do not photograph well. With a Deluxe Session you are able to wear two different casual outfits, i.e.: one casual and one dressy or a uniform and one casual or dressy.

HAIR: Though we want hair to be neat, a fresh cut or new hairstyle may not look quite right in the camera and hair cannot be retouched without purchasing additional retouching.

SUNTAN: Take great care not to get sunburned before your portrait appointment. We cannot correct for redness from sunburn, peeling skin, and for girls bathing suit strap marks.

MAKE UP: We suggest you wear make-up as if you were going out for the evening. A little better than everyday but not overdone. Don’t experiment in front of the camera.

FACIAL HAIR: Our cameras have good eyes and will pick up even a 5 o’clock shadow. Please shave before your appointment, and watch out for those nicks.

YOUR EYES: Please be rested for your portrait sitting. We can retouch the usual lines and bags under the eyes caused by smiling. However, your portraits will reflect if you haven't had a good nights sleep.

JEWELRY AND FINGER NAILS: We will be photographing your hands in one or two poses. So please have nails neat and clean and if you have a special ring or two, don’t forget to wear them.
